Our model is different than that of any travel service in the industry today! We are unique in that our primary function is to bring consumers together with the Home Based Travel Agent affiliate that most closely matches, and can therefore best service, by expertise and geographical proximity, the request of the consumer. And to provide that qualified lead to HBTA affiliated travel agents EXCLUSIVELY!

Our research has shown that consumers are FOUR TO FIVE TIMES MORE LIKELY to purchase from a home based agent located in the same general geographic area than from an agent outside that area.

We will educate the consumer on why it is not only "okay" or "safe" to purchase from a HBTA listed agent, but why home based travel agents, in general, will provide them benefits that traditional brick and mortar agents would be hard pressed to match.

Home Based Travel Agent independent contractor affiliate/owners are more experienced, can provide more time and attention to a customer's needs, have considerably lower overhead resulting in very competitive pricing with the mega agencies, and they are easily contacted (they live at the office!) and, most importantly, they are the boss!

By providing the consumer with "experts" in the product, service, destination or supplier they are inquiring about and by incorporating geographic proximity to the consumer as a weighted criteria for the perfect match, we are creating qualified leads that have closing ratios far beyond that of traditional print, radio, pay per click or pay per lead advertising. Home based travel agents have found their "Home"!

We also provide the consumer with travel information and offers provided by our partner suppliers. All requests for booking or further information by consumers are directed by email to our registered HBTA agent affiliates.

As more committed, qualified agents join our "Home", it results in more exposure for our preferred suppliers, that, in turn, means more deals for consumers, which develops into more leads for agents, which…. means business!

HBTA is self-driven. This means that you, the home based travel agent, receive qualified leads, generated by the marketing efforts put forth by HBTA.

We have made it very affordable for suppliers to reach our entire agent base AND our consumer base. But, we require that ALL business generated from any advertising on our website be directed to our affiliated home based travel agents!

HBTA allows suppliers to show their support for you, the home based travel agents, as a group - something they could never possibly do on an individual basis!
